Community stories
Field notes from the farm

Simple Promise Farms has given me a safe space to work, grow, and continue shaping my career path as well as my individual journey. Knowing I can come to work and be supported, both in my recovery journey and in everyday life in a safe space, makes the world of a difference.
– Brian Smith

I take away peace and a connection to nature. I have a new appreciation for the gifts different plants give to us.

Texas Country Reporter: Healing in the Garden
Being featured on Texas Country Reporter was a meaningful milestone for Simple Promise Farms and Ranch House Recovery. As one of the nation's longest-running syndicated programs, it offered a powerful platform to share our mission of recovery through meaningful work, community, and connection.
The feature highlighted how daily work on the farm supports restoration, helping men and women in recovery rebuild responsibility, trust, and purpose. More than growing food, the farm is a place where people begin to grow again.
